Bird Tallit

I've finally completed this tallit for a young woman who will have her bat mitzvah on Saturday. I'm over-the-top excited the results!
I hand painted the fabric with SetaColor paints, using a resist for parts of the design.

The birds were made individually
and then fused onto the background,
raw-edge appliqued and detailed with
stitching. I added the leaves last.
It's lined, also with hand-painted fabric.
